Sounds like we might even have our own class this year.
That's the first time that I know of.

The all British Motor Vehicle show, which now included British bikes, returned to Dixon this year. Weather was great.
A grand total of four Cortinas, two Anglia 105E and one Escort 2000 showed up.

Great turnout -- Better than the Vancouver BC EnFo turnout. What do we know about that Escort? I really like the original looking Mk II Cortina.

I missed the owner's name on the Escort. I think Mike Barrett may have an idea. The '62 Cortina and Escort share the same license plate # PYP 882L

Someone noticed the plate finally. Very nice, the Escort belongs to John Mckissack from San Leandro. Funny story...I had a classic UK Ford mag at the house when I took the Cortina on it's maiden down the street voyage, John was at the house to witness the momentous occasion and there was an Escort on the cover...Love at first site. Bought it off of EbayUK and shipped it over here. We jammed down south and picked up it when it arrived. Way easier importing it than I thought. Other than the exchange rate it was a pretty painless adventure. As with anything Ebay related, the little Escort needs some work but we're straightening things out a little here and there.
Matter of fact, we will be at Infineon running both of them at the NorCal Shelby Club event there August 3rd. Should be fine having them both on track at the same time!!

Anyone else going this year? It's on May 19th,
in Dixon.
I'll probably take the '67 MGB GT.
