towing a 1950 prefect on all 4 tires

:?: can you tow a 1950 prefect with a 3 speed manuel trans on all 4 tires ? i wasnt sure if the trans would oil itself enough while towing. ifit wont has any heard of a pump that you could add on tocirculate the oil ?

Disconnect driveshaft and should be fine?

That isn't possible with an Upright.

No, there would be no problem towing.

The oil is circulated by the gears turning. BTW Don, we will need to so some pictures.

i hvntpurchasedthe car yet i wasjust doing some fact finding thx for your reply

where would you get parts for a 1950 prefect? would i need to find someone in the uk or are there places in the us that could help me ?

Don, there are plenty of people offering all manner of parts and advice for those cars. They are relatively easy to find parts for and pretty simple to work on. Just make sure the gearbox oil is topped off and that the tires are not old and dry rotted.

im not that good on the computor bu tim trying i hvnt found any parts suppliers and very little information? could you give some leads ? i guess im not going on the right sights any help you give give me would be appreciated

Unfortunately FSOC still will not sell any parts to North America. The others are good though. I have bought a lot from small ford spares. Also you can add
