Hello from central North Carolina!
Upon receiving my driver's license in the spring of 1970, my first "new" car was supposed to have been a leftover '69 Cortina from the long-gone Reinertsen Motors in Denville, New Jersey, but I ended up with a used '66 Mercury Comet Caliente convertible instead!
Fast forward several decades and I'm now the proud owner of a Netherlands-assembled 1970 Cortina GT 2-door, light green metallic with black interior and some 1600E interior mods (wood dash and door capping).
Looking forward to getting it on the road again!
