It's been quiet here lately - where is everyone?
I got out of the hospital after spending eight days there
due to surgery for a serious infection on my right hand,
and will probably be off work for about three months,&
can't do a whole lot for now.
It'd be nice to hear from you guys.

Yes it has been a quiet place here lately but I check in here almost daily to see the latest news, sorry to hear that you are struggling with an infection of that sort, it must be serious as hospitals normally try to boot you out ASAP. I think you should start a thread of some kind to start the ball rolling? What  would your topic be?

It's been too friggin' hot here in New Jersey to work on my world's-slowest-moving, longest-lasting Enfo project. Hopefully with the fall season starting up here, I'll get back on it. I've got a remanufactured water pump that I picked up which needs to be installed.

This Summer has been a blur.
I have to do just a few update posts on my project.
I'm headed to the All British Field Meet (in Portland) tomorrow.
It's going to be a scoarcher, but wouldn't miss this show for anything.

It has been hot too here in B.C. but I don't mind the heat, I have the ocean practically at my front door and the daily swimming has been great with the water temperatures ranging from 69 to 72 Degrees F.

I would post some photos of recent events that I've been to over the summer with my Cortina's, but it is so hard to post the pics due to size restrictions for this site. I have tried several times but too much involved to get the pics the right size so I haven't posted.

Since I foolishly sold my Cortina I haven't found another and my new project is not a Ford hence my absence...

Since I foolishly sold my Cortina I haven't found another and my new project is not a Ford hence my absence...

This is the latest foolishness.

always loved these little talbots and the alpine version , is this the one that was for sale recently. in tacoma wa , it looked to be a good buy was considering it myself but then reality kicked in and I realised I already have too many dead soldiers

[/quote i think we've all been there and let our heart rule our head , I have an engineless 400e sitting here because of that and I just bought a 1957 hooper bodied Bentley empress not the most popular model , I only went to look out. of curiosity but. ended up leaving an absentee bid which. was probably a bit strong and ended up owning it it seems I never learn .
