Morspeed

Post by morspeed »

Hello to all member's

My name is Tony and I found your site while looking on the web for a website for the 100E, I have the chance to buy one local at the moment.

I'm 47 and live in Winter Garden Florida, I was born in England and at the age of 14 my folks moved us to Germany. Where I live from 1976 till 1991 and then on to the US.

My dad was heavy into motor racing when I was young and ran a business in Birmingham called Morspeed with a rolling road, so I was around all the classic car of the day in England.

He always had a Ford something, most of the time he had a Mk1 Cortina to run around in. In the early sixty's he ran a 100E stock car with three other guys.

In Germany I drove escort's and Capri's, infact I took my drive test in England in a Mk1 Escort and my first car was a 1970 Carpi which had the 2.0L V6 in it wish I had a pic of it now.

Bye For Now Tony

Here are two more, these would have been taken somewhere around 1962-1964 in England

This was a advert he ran back in the 60's for his dyno, he was the first british company to have one back in 1964.
