URGENT: Ford Anglia 105E NEEDED in VANCOUVER next week..

Hi All,
I have been contacted by a Film Company looking to shoot a Movie in Vancouver Canada next week. They are doing a film on JK Rowlings and are looking for a Ford Anglia 105E (preferably left hand drive).

They have had no luck finding one, and are looking to lease one in California, Washington, or Western Canada.

Yes I spoke with them.. Both of my Anglia's are off the road ( figures ) and with the help of the Old English Car Club we did find one in Vancouver, but the owner was unwilling to loan the car..

Used to be Anglia's were every where.. How times have changed!

To bad they can't use a MK1 Cortina GT! I live 45min from downtown Vancouver.

Mike Frankovich, who ran the Super Cosmos museum at one time and specialized in motion pictures classic car rentals, mentioned beware of lending your car out to any film co. wanting to use it in a scene even if they offer a few hundrded $. They may trash the car.
If you decide to let them use it in a shoot then insist that you drive the car.

I've heard that movie use can be rough on a car too. A valiant effort on Bob's part to find a car. I hope something works out for them.
