Joel Hershoren and his team at Waterford Hills deserve to be congratulated on a fantastic vintage racing weekend. Thanks also to those Cortina die-hards who travelled from the West Coast or Florida and who provided hours of fascinating conversation, and to those who brought their cars long-distance to put on a show on the track. The drivers and owners could not have been more welcoming and forthcoming in the pits.

Well, in the absence of any better offerings, here are a few of mine. I think the final tally was three real Mk1 Lotus-Cortinas, two Mk 1 GTs with twin-cam engines, two twin-cam Escorts, two Mk 1 GTs, one Mk 1 estate, one Anglia, two Mk 1 Capris, one Mk 2 Capri and two Mk 1 Fiestas. #41 is the ex-Alan Mann, ex-Allan Moffat car.
