Is it possible for a 1964 Mk1 GT to be an Airflow? Every thing I can find is the Airflow came out for 65 & 66 years. Researching a car I found.

According to the Cortna MK1 parts list: Year code 63(C) 64(D) 65(E) 66(F)
Cars made at the end of the year were registered the following year.
Check the I.D. plate.

Year code T which is 64. Has Diamond shape ID Plate. What I can find is 63-64 were pre Air flow. This 1 has an Airflow grill and lights. How easy is the swap? Just the grill or the whole front panel? Also a model 119E which Right hand drive so must have been changed over at some time.

(T) month code for December. 119E (LHD) 118E (RHD) with 1500cc.
It's common to swap the grille and parking lights. A true airflow has the pillar vent screen as the pre-airflow has the opening rear window.
Diamond I.D. were '62-'64 models. '65-'66 are rectangular.

Pete I got this off the Lotus-Cortina (Cortina Land website) and it says 119E is Right Hand Drive. Becoming confusing. Maybe a misprint? Both 118E and 119E RH drive.

Model

113E 1198cc Right Hand Drive
114E 1198cc Left Hand Drive
118E 1498cc Right Hand Drive
119E 1498cc Right Hand Drive
125E 1558cc Lotus Right Hand Drive

That is a misprint. 119E LHD. 125E designation for Lotus Cortina MK1. Pre-airflow are RHD. Air-flow models were produced LHD and RHD. There is some debate whether Lotus made any LHD pre-airflow models.

Thanks Pete. Just doing my homework before I jump in with both feet.
