Olympus Rally, 2017

Olympus Rally 2017 Meet and Greet, Shelton, WA by Michael, on Flickr

Went up to Shelton (Washington) this morning to look at the cars before the rally got started. It was probably 80% Subarus. Also a couple of BMW's, a Datsun 280Z, a Toyota, a Nissan, a Saab V4, a Volvo, a Chevy Sprint Turbo and five Fords:

Appears to be a WRC Fiesta.

This appears to be a brand new Fiesta Rally 3. I was surprised to see so many euro-spec Fiesta rally cars.

Here are some photos from this year's event (2024).

My unscientific observation is that Ford was the second best represented make there (after Subaru, which had a factory sponsored car).

There as a Mk I and Mk II Escort, a 1990s America Escort GT, A Mustang, three Focuses and maybe have a dozen modern Fiestas, including European M-Sport cars.
