Hi James. I started with the Dremel, grinding out all the cracks to make room for filler. Then filled all those with PC-7 epoxy and sanded smooth to 220 grit. Next was 2 or 3 coats of PPG K200 urethane primer/surfacer and sanded that to 600. I used the horn button for a paint match and a friendly store manager spent a lot of his personal time getting it as right as possible. The final paint is Matrix Systems urethane single stage, 2 tack coats followed by 2 wet coats. I don't think I will do anything else to it. I finally got a bunch of photos of the steps loaded onto Flickr.

Thanks Michael. Big job but the "new look" inside makes it all well worthwhile.
