Starting in2009 the car was black and I bought it in Mass. The body had very little rust except surface rust. may not have ever seen salt. Licence plate and reg. sticker still on it from 1966. Moving up thats me removing the engine. My niece and mother and Jim my friend and Engine restorer. The pics of the Blue 1956 is my first car in 1975 with me in it. This was a true mid life crisis restoration. Final Result was turned out great. original interior with new vinyl paint. and new paint all around. Just bought a 3 bar grille for $100.00 and will fix it up and put it on even though its not right for a 1959. I like the old grille better. Pictures to follow this summer.
