Refueling - How Do I Avoid Spilling Gasoline?

Post by angliagt »

With these stupid recovery nozzles,I end up with fuel
dripping down the rear of the car/rear fender,& when it shuts
off on the estate,I get a surge of gasoline on the ground.
How can I avoid this happening?

California is a clean State, the irony of this is the nozzle is creating what it's supposed to be preventing (escaping hydrocarbons)

Today,when I filled up,I used a long flexible funnel,
but still spilled gas when it reached the overflow tube.
